10 LinkedIn Post Ideas You Can Record in Under 2 Minutes

The most common reason people stop posting on LinkedIn is not a lack of time. It is a lack of ideas at the moment when they have time. Here are ten formats you can record as a voice note in under two minutes, any time you have something real to say.

1. The lesson from a recent conversation

A call with a customer, a meeting with an investor, a conversation with a team member. What did you learn that surprised you? Record that.

2. The mistake you made and what you changed

Honesty about getting something wrong is the highest-trust content on LinkedIn. Be specific about what happened, what you did, and what you do differently now.

3. The thing you believed a year ago that you no longer believe

Changed beliefs signal intellectual honesty. They also generate conversation from people who are mid-journey on the same question.

4. The framework you use that nobody talks about

Every practitioner has a mental model they use constantly that they have never seen written down. That is a post. Give it a name, explain it in three sentences.

5. A reaction to something you read this week

Do not just summarise. Respond to it. What do you agree with? What is missing from the argument? What does it mean for people in your field?

6. What you are working on and why it matters

Founders and operators underestimate how interesting their work-in-progress is. Share the current problem, why it is hard, and what solving it would mean.

7. A question your audience would have genuine opinions about

Not a rhetorical question. A real one. Something you are actually uncertain about or something where you know the answers will vary. Ask and mean it.

8. A result you are proud of with the context behind it

Share the number and the story. Results without context feel like bragging. Results with honest context feel like a case study.

9. Something that is obviously true in your industry but rarely said out loud

The thing everyone who works in your field knows but nobody publishes because it is uncomfortable or unflattering. That is exactly the post your audience needs.

10. What you are thinking about right now

The most overlooked format. Open Telegram, hit record, and answer the question: "What is on my mind today?" Sometimes the most honest and spontaneous answer is the best post you will publish all week.
