Google Doc to LinkedIn Without Export or Download

Start a SparkVox project from a native Google Doc in Drive on paid plans - text export server-side, same moment extraction and voice pipeline as transcripts.

Google Doc to LinkedIn Without Export or Download
On this page

Workshop notes, interview write-ups, and strategy docs often live in Google Docs long before they become audio. Exporting to Word, saving as .txt, and re-uploading is friction that keeps good material off LinkedIn. On Pro, Accelerate, and Scale, SparkVox can start a project from a native Google Doc you pick in Drive - no download step.

How it works

  1. Connect Google Drive under Settings → Integrations.
  2. Open New Project → Import from cloud → Google Drive.
  3. Select a Google Doc in Google Picker (same drive.file scope as other Drive imports).
  4. SparkVox exports the Doc to plain text server-side and runs moment extraction and drafting like any other transcript source.

What else you can import from Drive

MP3 audio (up to 500 MB), .txt, and .srt still work in the same picker. Dropbox and OneDrive support MP3, TXT, and SRT - not native Google Docs. Meet transcript Docs from Google Meet import are a separate path (meetings integration), not the same as picking any Doc in your Drive.

Developer API

POST /api/v1/projects with source_type cloud, provider google-drive, and mime_type application/vnd.google-apps.document. See Create project and Developer API help.

Full workflow: import from cloud storage, SparkVox for Google Drive, and what happens after ingest.
