Scheduling LinkedIn posts

On Pro, Accelerate, or Scale, SparkVox includes a native LinkedIn post scheduler. Review drafts in your project's LinkedIn content strategy, confirm date and time in the inline scheduler (or the Reschedule modal for queued posts), and posts auto-publish via LinkedIn's official API at the time you chose. Open Schedule in the app sidebar for week and month calendar views. Smart schedule pre-fill runs on every paid plan. When your queue is about to run dry, SparkVox warns you with a Schedule badge, sidebar card, and Schedule page banner before LinkedIn goes quiet.

Schedule from your project

1. Open a draft in your project's LinkedIn content strategy and click Schedule (replaces Approve on Pro, Accelerate, or Scale).
2. The post drawer expands into an inline scheduler - channel, date, time, and Confirm. A loading skeleton shows until channel identities and smart pre-fill are ready.
3. Date and time pre-fill from your last scheduled or published post on that channel (plus one calendar day at the same local time, or tomorrow at 9:00 if you have no history). Switch channels to recompute instantly, or choose Schedule for now.
4. Confirm. The post moves to scheduled status and appears on the Schedule page.

Nothing queues without that confirmation step. You can still edit the draft before opening Schedule. To change a queued post later, use Reschedule - that opens the full schedule modal. Connect LinkedIn first under Settings → Integrations. See sparkvox.io/help/connecting-linkedin.

Schedule page

The Schedule page (app sidebar) shows week and month views (Monday through Sunday) with a fixed toolbar - the calendar body scrolls below the header. Filter by LinkedIn channel (All or one identity) and by status: All, Scheduled, Published, or Failed. When a single channel is selected, card colors reflect funnel stage (Awareness, Authority, Conversion). Drag a scheduled post to another day to reschedule - the time of day stays the same. The calendar updates live when you schedule from another tab or when posts publish.

Schedule runway reminders

SparkVox tracks how many days remain until your last queued post publishes on each connected LinkedIn channel. When the soonest-empty channel is running low, you get a proactive reminder before your feed goes quiet - not after.

• Schedule nav badge when your queue ends within 7 days or you have only 2 posts left on the worst channel
• Persistent sidebar card when critical (3 days or fewer, or only 1 queued post left) - shows days left, the date your last post publishes, and which channel when you publish to more than one identity
• Open Schedule jumps to the calendar; Remind me later snoozes the sidebar card for 7 days (it returns if the queue gets worse)
• Amber banner at the top of the Schedule page with the same runway message - dismiss is separate from the sidebar card

If you publish to both a personal profile and company pages, alerts focus on whichever channel will go empty first. An empty queue shows Your schedule is empty - queue more posts from your projects before the last publish date passes.

Reschedule and cancel

• From your project, scheduled posts show Reschedule - open the schedule modal to change time, cancel schedule (returns the draft to pending), or choose Schedule for now to publish immediately.
• From the Schedule page, open a scheduled post and use Reschedule or drag it to another day.
• Failed posts stay on the calendar - fix copy or timing and reschedule.

Company page permission errors

If you lack permission to post as a selected company page, SparkVox shows a plain-English message instead of raw LinkedIn errors. Ask a page admin for posting access on LinkedIn, or switch to your personal profile under Post as in the post editor.

What happens at publish time

SparkVox queues the publish job when you confirm. At scheduled_at, the post publishes to LinkedIn through the official Content API. If you enabled a first comment on the draft, it still queues about 5 minutes after the post goes live. Sparky may also learn from your edits after a scheduled post publishes. Post statuses

• Pending - draft, not scheduled yet
• Scheduled - queued for publish at scheduled_at
• Approved (with LinkedIn URN) - published to LinkedIn
• Failed - publish failed after retries; open the post to reschedule
• Discarded - rejected and removed from the queue

Smart schedule pre-fill

When you open Schedule on a pending post, SparkVox pre-fills date and time per LinkedIn channel. If you have scheduled or published to that channel before, the suggestion is that slot plus one calendar day at the same local time (your profile timezone). If not, it defaults to tomorrow at 9:00. Switch the channel dropdown to recompute instantly. Adjust the fields if you want a different time, then Confirm - nothing queues until you confirm.

Post Analytics timing insights

After you have at least 5 direct LinkedIn publishes with impressions, SparkVox learns which weekday and hour brackets perform best for you. That data appears in Post Analytics on Pro and above (What's Working and weekly reports). It is separate from smart schedule pre-fill, which is based on your last slot per channel.

• What's Working shows best day, time bracket (for example 7-10am or 1-5pm), and a plain-English timing line
• Scoped to the post's LinkedIn channel and funnel stage when enough data exists
• Falls back to channel-only, funnel-only, or your full LinkedIn history when a slice is too sparse
• When enough analytics sync history exists, insights may also note when your posts typically reach peak impressions

Scheduling horizon by plan

• Pro: schedule up to 30 days ahead
• Accelerate: schedule up to 90 days ahead
• Scale: schedule up to 365 days ahead

Plan requirements

Scheduling requires Pro, Accelerate, or Scale. Free accounts can connect LinkedIn and review drafts but cannot queue scheduled posts until you upgrade. Tips

• LinkedIn rewards engagement in the first 60-90 minutes after publish - plan to be available after scheduled posts go live
• Use channel filters when you publish to both personal profile and company pages
• Trust the suggested window when it is scoped to this channel and funnel stage - it reflects your actual impressions, not generic best-time lists
• Failed posts stay on the calendar so you can fix copy or timing and reschedule
• Immediate publish uses Schedule for now in the same modal flow
• You get in-app notifications when scheduled posts publish or fail
• Treat the schedule runway warning as a refill signal - queue another batch before your last post publishes
