Tagging people on LinkedIn

While editing a draft in your project's LinkedIn content strategy, type @ in the post body or first comment to search LinkedIn people and company pages - or paste a linkedin.com/in/ profile URL directly into the editor. SparkVox resolves the profile and replaces the URL with a mention chip that publishes as a native LinkedIn @ tag.

Paste a LinkedIn profile URL

You do not have to use the @ picker for every person. Paste a LinkedIn profile URL into the inline editor - for example https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe or linkedin.com/in/jane-doe - and SparkVox looks up the profile and converts it to an @ mention chip in place. Works when the URL appears on its own or inside a longer paste (for example a sentence that includes someone's profile link).

• Requires LinkedIn connected under Settings → Integrations - otherwise the URL stays as plain text
• Profile URLs only (linkedin.com/in/...) - use @ search for company pages
• If lookup fails, the pasted URL remains as text so you can fix or remove it

How to tag someone

1. Open a post from your project's LinkedIn content strategy.
2. Click in the post body or first comment editor.
3. Either type @ and pick from search (3+ characters, or fewer when typing a linkedin.com/in/ vanity slug), pick from recent mentions saved in this browser, or paste a linkedin.com/in/ profile URL.
4. The mention appears as a chip in the editor - not a raw URL.
5. Publish or schedule as usual - the mention goes live on LinkedIn.

Recent mentions

The @ picker shows people and company pages you tagged recently on this browser first (up to 30), then LinkedIn search results. Recents are stored locally on your device - not synced across browsers or teammates.

What you can tag

• Your LinkedIn connections (member search)
• People who follow company pages you administer
• Company pages you manage (from Integrations → LinkedIn)
• Other organizations returned by LinkedIn company search
• linkedin.com/in/ profile URLs pasted into the editor (converted to @ mention chips)

Requirements and tips

• LinkedIn must be connected under Settings → Integrations.
• Mention search uses the LinkedIn channel selected for that post (personal profile or company page).
• Recent mentions from this browser appear at the top of the @ picker.
• If search fails, reconnect LinkedIn or sign in again when prompted.
• Tag when it benefits the person you mention - not only for reach.
