When a project fails
What failed status means and how processing time is handled.
A project can fail during transcription, moment extraction, or post generation. When status is failed, open the project page to read the error message.
Processing time and refunds
Your balance is checked before processing starts. If a project fails after processing time was deducted, SparkVox refunds that time automatically. You are not charged for a run that did not complete successfully.
Common causes
- Unreachable or private URL (YouTube video unavailable, broken audio link).
- Unsupported or corrupt file upload.
- Insufficient processing time at ingest time (you get a low-balance notification before processing starts).
- Transient transcription or AI errors - try again or contact support via the Help drawer.
